Owner and Director, Rima Numan, is a mother of two girls. Professionally, Rima has been a family child care provider for over 5 years since year of 2000. Prior to the establishment of Little Angels School House as family day care, Rima Numan spent two years as head Teacher of the infant room and one year as head teacher of toddlers for a local day care in Chatham, NJ. She earned a Child Development Associate Credential 2005 and is first-aid / CPR certified.
It is very important to Rima to keep up to date with the latest information regarding child development. There are several organizations that Rima belongs to: The New Jersey Registry For Childhood Professionals Serving Children Birth Through Age Thirteen, New Jersey Family Child Care Providers Association, New Jersey Professional Development Center For Early Care And Education, Child and Family Resources, Coalition of Infant/Toddler Educators, National Association For The Education of Young Children, Better Baby Care, New Jersey Association For The Education of Young Children, National Association For Family Child Care and New Jersey Association Of Child Care Resources and Referral Agencies. As a member of these associations, Rima receives monthly or quarterly newsletters with information pertaining to child development, activity ideas, the latest research in early childhood, nutritional information, upcoming training seminars and workshops, emotional development, parenting information, resources for care givers, and new regulation s in child care.
Rima Numan is A Gold Star Provider for 2004, 2005, and 2006 NJFCCPA and qualified for NJ Group Teacher.
